I had wondered if there was something wrong with the fact that I find a certain satisfaction in placing objects around my working area in neat little lines.
I now know that I am not alone - what's more there's a name for the practise, at least there is in Tom Sachs' studio. He calls it knolling. I'm with you Tom, I am a knoller too.
We also seem to share something in common in trying to quantify the cost of tasks. Take my cyclists - the amount of time I spend on them I should be selling them for £200 a piece.

I must say Lizzie's idea of Chinese blue for the hallway didn't exactly have me brimming over with enthusiasm until I saw this pic. It actually looks quite cool with those pictures.
